On this particular day at Arlington West Santa Monica, we were honored to have two prominent Iraqi Labor Leaders visit and share their sorrow upon seeing the many mementos dedicated by family members for their loved ones.

The occasion of their visit to Arlington West Santa Monica was in conjunction with their national speaking tour, raising awareness about current attempts to control Iraq’s oil by foreign business interests, women's issues under the occupation, and the role of unions in creating a non-sectarian, progressive Iraq. U.S. Labor Against the War were the sponsors of their national speaking tour.
